What
are tele-classes?
A tele-class is an actual class with a trainer and
global participants that is held completely by phone.
All class participants call into a designated conference line
from anywhere in the world to share in the learning experience.
What about pre-recorded tele-classes?
Not all pre-recorded classes are free. Please check listings.
How does it work?
Once you have selected and registered for your class, you will
receive instructions and an access number to attend the class. About 3 minutes before the class time, you should dial in to
your access number and prepare for the class to begin. It is a regular long-distance call.
Will
I have homework in tele-classes?
Sometimes. Each class is designed to help you meet or achieve
an aspect of your goals, answer questions you may have surrounding the identified topic or facilitate a shift in your perspective
that will improve the way you witness and bring revival in your life. Therefore, it may sometimes be necessary to complete
assignments outside of class to enrich your learning experience. The classes are designed to stretch you beyond your normal
limits and "Move Your Christian Experience Into Action".
What
if I register for a series of classes and miss a session?
Each session is recorded and made available to registered participants
for 10 days following the session. If something comes up and you miss a class, you don’t have to worry, a recording
of the class will be made available to you following the session. Not only can you use this resource if you miss a class but
also if you desire to review sessions later at your convenience. The structure of the environment and the support that we
provide is very conducive to the adult learning experience.
What
other support will I get as a registered participant?
If you have registered more than 72 hours prior to the class,
you will receive a written outline to help guide your note taking. Your outline will also contain additional recommended resources
and books. Following the class you will receive instructions for listening to the recording of the session.
Is there
any other information that might be helpful? Yes, this may be a new experience for you; so, to enhance
your learning experience as well as respect the experience of others here are a few tips:
- Please call into the class from a land line rather
than a wireless phone.
- Call from a quiet area.
- Press the mute button on your phone to block out extraneous
noise.
- Avoid multi-tasking while in class (i.e., checking
email, washing dishes, driving).
- Be present and aware, just as you would if you were
sitting in a class.
- Enjoy the class!!
